We use Grundorf professional DJ consoles, built especially for mobile DJs. Besides being visually attractive, they contain the mixer, dual CD player, iBook laptop, light controller, wireless mic, and BBE processor. Everything is pre wired with no unsightly wires exposed.
We utilize Apple 14″ G4 iBooks that run on MegaSeg DJ software. The Mac platform is extremely stable versus the problems often found when using Windows-based PCs. The speed and ease in cuing and playing music versus CDs is amazing. Plus, no skipping CDs to ever deal with. We do carry CDs as a backup source just in case of computer failure.
We use Audio Technica UHF series wireless microphones and also carry a back up corded mic. We also use a BBE Sonic Maximizer in each system which makes any song come alive. We’d be happy to demonstrate the difference to you.
